Prof. Takahiro Hayashi received the Best Paper Award in the 70th anniversary
of the Japan Society for Non-Destructive Inspection. This award was selected
as the best of all papers published in the Journal of the Japanese Society
for Non-Destructive Inspection over the past 10 years. Professor Hayashi
received this prize for his paper "Numerical Analysis of Harmonic
Generation at Metal Block-Thin Film Interface Using Separation Spring Model"
(co-authored with Mr. Atsushi Tatsumi, currently IHI Corporation (at that
time, a graduate student in Kyoto University)).
